Beasts and late night calls

Yesterday I met up with Sofia, Tomone, Erina and Mayu at Mall of Scandinavia for dinner and to go and watch "Beauty and the Beast"! We had a huge Middle Eastern dinner at Sook, eating some shwarma, falafels etc. Super good.

Delicious shwarma~

The movie was really great. The animations were on point, the music was lovely and Emma Watson is just perfect. I truly enjoyed it.
-
After getting back home I curled up in bed with my tablet and dived deep into the FFXV tag. It's been about 1 ½ week since I finished the game but...I'm still not over it. And not just literally speaking, since I am still playing it and wrapping up final missions etc, but also emotionally.
Then Maja called, who had just finished the game too, and we talked and talked...discussing the game in general, some hunts, weapons etc. But also this really unpleasant feeling in your gut after the game ended. Like, it's not the usual emptyness that a good game leaves behind...this is different. After a 100+ hours of playing as these characters, getting to know them and feel for them... and then THAT ending?! It's just not fair. Me and Maja talked for about 1 ½ hours. I'm so happy I have her with me on this <3

GU girls lunch

Me and my group partner for our project have been hyping the lunch at Shanti Gossip for like...over 2 weeks...so today, after the seminar, we went there together with some other GU girls. We were quite lucky to only have to wait for a table for like 4 minutes, since the place is super small and VERY popular.
-
But as soon as we got seated we got some complementary Mango Lassi! It wasn't as thick and sour as all the lassi I've tasted before, but I think I like it more like this acutally! Plus it was rather sweet hehe.
Then we got our food...I had ordered their Bengali Meatballs made of lamb served with naan and my god...it was delicious. All of our foods looked amazing so I'm definitely gonna have to go back there and try EVERYTHING!

:D

My awesome classmates~

Blurry but still cute!

My food <3

Tomorrow, despite it being Saturday, we're gonna try to wrap up our project report and then....we're done!

A weekend

I've had the longest weekend, which ended yesterday (monday). I decided to take some days off Uni and just chill and live.
-
So on Sunday I met up with Mia and Stuart who was in town for Mello, and Annika! The four of us had a nice fika together, catching up! It was such a great time seeing them all again :)

:D
-
Then yesterday me and Sofia spent half of the day at Mall of Scandinavia, buying some stuff I've been needing and also enjoyed an awesome lunch! Then we went home to my place and watched Moana! It was sooo good!! I was tearing up more than once. It was a perfect day!

Stand by me

Tonight I finished playing FFXV.
The ending was...no. Just no. I'm still in denial.
I'm just glad I have my P1 Maja to talk to in times like these...

You guys <3

Project and procrastination

Right now, I'm in the middle of working on a group project. I think it's going quite well, even though me and my group are exceptionally good at procrastinating. But it's fun. Today we (during the peak of our procrastination) we started assigning Swedish dialects to different dogbreeds. Yes. We paired up Chihuahua and Helsingborg, any terrier with Gothenburg, Afgan dogs with the posh Stockholm dialekt, Alaskan Malamute with Norrland and the Great Pyrenees with Piteå. Important stuff.
-
In other news, I am finally starting to feel better now, after the worst cold ever. Kinda. Can't wait to go back to the gym and pick up where I left off. It's been over 2 weeks now since the last time I worked out. Heck.
-
(btw chapter 13 in Final Fantasy XV can go to hell. bye)

Bookings and pie <3

Yesterday I went to Sofia's to hang out and book accommodations in Seoul and BAKE!
So first off, we booked an apartment in the heart of Seoul via Airbnb and we're soooooooooooooo excited! It's super central, one subway stop away from Myeongdong and it's gonna be so great to have our own little space in this big city <3
-
Then we started baking. And if y'all didn't know....Lemon Meringue Pie is my bae. Like, it's my favourite thing in life. Almost. And Sofia had promised to make one for me sooo...I was all game. We helped out and I made the crust and the meringue and Sofia did the filling. And I must say...it turned out pretty gorgeous! But looks aside....the taste....was amazing!! It tasted fantastic, not too sweet, a bit sour and the meringue was fluffy and just...perfect.

The excitement is real.

I'm pretty proud of the pattern I did on the top hehe

-
Then we just sat chatting about everything and nothing. A classic. Hypeing our trip etc. Eeeep <3

Terra incognita

FF update: So yesterday I left for Altissia in FFXV. 85h in to the game, and about 50 lvl too high I got aboard the boat to cross the ocean. I think it's pretty obvious where they got the inspiration from, when then designed the city. It is stunning, maze-like and full of interesting things!

I literally gasped when entering the city....can you blame me?
-
Life update: So I think I finally managed to get sick. But I don't know how...I just started feeling slow on Saturday, then yesterday my throat was suuper swollen. Fun stuff. But I'm already feeling a bit better. Hopefully I can get back to the gym later this week.
Though I barely have no classes at all left, I still have tons of school work. Which means my discipline is being tested...and I feel like I'm failing a bit? Maybe? I dunno, we'll see.

Aries and Sagittarius week~

So Dena came here early on Tuesday morning, and have been staying here until today. We've had so much fun together this week.
We visited the National Museum of Science and Technology on Wednesday evening with Anna, had lunch with both her and Sofia on Friday and then went home to Anna on Saturday for some homemade "semlor". Between all of this we ate alot of food and snax, watched some series and random youtube vids and just chilled at my place.
And of course, the main reason Dena came down here in the first place, got our first tattoos on Thursday :D I wasn't (surprisingly enough) nervous at all, and I went first since my tattoo was much smaller and more simple than Denas but...omg how it hurt!!! I actually screamed in the beginning xD But somehow I powered through and I am sooo happy with the result! I love it so much <3

Thursday morning, ready for our tattoos!!

Denas turn!

Final result! :D SO COOL!

The big world, on my little foot <3

Friday food at Friday's ;D

Making semlor :D

My little creation <3

Long weekend with Mom

So my Mom came to visit me here in Stockholm last Thursday, and left this Monday morning. We've been having such a great time together eating sooo much food, watching tons of documentaries and a lil' bit of shopping as well. Here's some snapshots from the past few days~ (And yes, most of the pics are of food. Not even sorry).

Happy Mom :D

Dinner at Därmedpasta~

Lunch at Tamarindo~

Fika break and selfie break :D

Burgers from Vigårda~

And the final dinner at Blue Light Yokohama!

Essay time/ YNWA

Today I started writing my last essay for GU. I just realized that, while writing this, that this'll be my last one. We'' have another group project after this...then...I'll start writing my BA thesis. How the hell....
-
BUT...BTS released "You Never Walk Alone" yesterday and I think I've listened to both "Spring Day" and "Not Today" about 100 times (each) by now. So proud of them <3
-
Mom's coming to visit me later this weeks so that's my motivation to write this essay. The light at the end of the tunnel, kinda. Can't wait!!

Dinner + Fika night out~

Yesterday I met up with Sofia, Tomone and Mayu for dinner, fika and bants lol. We had a nice and light dinner at Hawaii Poke (which was delicious, I need to try more of their poke bowls!!) and then we went to a nearby Espresso House and sat there for hoooours chatting. I had such a great time, those girls are hilarious.

日本 & 대한민국

Yesterday me and Sofia booked our tickets for this summers epic trip to Japan and South Korea!
We're gonna stay in Tokyo for 1 week, then go to Seoul and stay there for 2 weeks.
I'm so freakin' excited it's unreal!!!!

Throwback to Disney Sea in Tokyo 2015~
Definitely going back there again!!

Broms

Today I met up with Alona for brunch at Broms Karlaplan. I've never been there before but I've read that their brunch is really good! The interior was super nice (no idea why I didn't snap any pictures of it tho...), the staff was super friendly and we got the food very fast after ordering. I got the eggs benedict and Alona got their eggs royale and then we shared! We also ordered in an American pancake to share for dessert. Overall I'd say it was a good brunch place. Not the best, but definitely not bad at all!

The American pancake was topped with maple syrup, berries and yoghurt sherbet~
-
Food aside, it was really nice to hang out and chill with Alona again. We connect in such a special way (a reason why we had so much fun together in London last year) and mix serious talk and some general fun rubbish haha.

Mixed times

Life is slow now...but fast at the same time? I only have one class every week, so the remaining time is spent on studying, playing FFXV (over 65h playtime woop), reading Stalking Darkness (yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees), watching Dan&Phil play Undertale (super late I kno sue me)......and working out. That's it. Boring mixed with fun.
Oh and alot of Skype:ing with Dena haha. We talked on Skype two times last week. Important.
-
After my workout today I couldn't control myself anymore and....bought a semla. I've been wanting to eat one ever since over two weeks back when I shared a semla with Tove. I'm gonna enjoy it later while studying my NEW Korean Anki card deck. Hehe how about that? It's so overdue I'm ashamed.

It's only one semla in there tho...*sobbing*

Prompto

Yesterday I bought a new camera!! I'm still getting used to it, and the settings are probs a bit off.....but still, a new camera!!! I'm so excited over all of the beautiful things and places this little thing will capture for me from now on.
And of course, the first thing I did when I turned it on was to rename the device, as I do with all of my electronic devices.....this one's name is: Prompto <3

Girl's night

Yesterday was our last evening together with Satsuki. She's going back to Japan later this week...I'm gonna miss her SO MUCH! We've had so much fun these past 6 months...made so many great memories together <3
But we'll see each other later this year at least hehe~
-
So yeah, the five of us (me, Sofia, Satsuki, Erina and Tomone) had booked a table at Hermans to enjoy their AH-mazin' vegan buffet. It is so colourful, delicious and just...10/10 would recommend.
We sat there eating and chatting until AFTER closing hour at around 21:30 ish. It was just such a perfect night, and a perfect last dinner out with Satsuki before she's leaving <3

So much fooood~

フィカ~

Today it was fika day! Satsuki wanted to introduce me and Sofia to two of her friends, so the five of us met up at Bröd & Salt close to Rådmansgatan for some delish fika. Both of her friends, Tomone and Erina, were super sweet and funny and the five of us had such a great time. Hope to see them again soon!

Check out my almond bun tho...I always eat that at "Bröd & Salt". My fave!!
-
Tomorrow I'm gonna meet up with some classmates to work on a group assignment. Haven't been at Uni at all since Monday so I guess it's about time. Even though tomorrow's Saturday...

LOTR Marathon~

Yesterday me, Sofia and Satsuki had an epic Lord of the Rings marathon at my place. We met at Hemköp at around 9:00 in the morning to buy snacks and food for the day. 12 h of watching movies demands ALOT of goodies ehehe. Then we went home and started watching "The fellowship of the Ring" at 10:00. Aaand we were done with all three movies at 21:45 in the evening haha!  Inbetween the first and the second movie, we had lunch (hot dogs hehe) and then between the second and third movie we went and bought some pizza.
-
It was such an awesome day. I love our  LOTR marathons~ we usually do it once every year but...I think I skipped out on the last one, 'cause it feels like it's been forever since last time. Oh well.

A good start of the week

I had quite the wonderful Monday yesterday, with my classmates.
After the introduction and first class of the new semester, four of us went to St. Eriksplan to have lunch at this sushi place one of my friends had found. Appearently they served really good dumplings as well, so we just HAD to try it out. I got their yakiniku and dumplings set, with mixed dumplings. The yakiniku was as good as any yakiniku I've had, but the dumplings...wow. They we're really good. Gotta love 'em handmade dumplings.

-
Then we went to a nearby café close to Vasaparken for some semla! The first semla of the year and oh my god it was so goooood! The "mandelmassa" inside was a chunky and nice~ Loved it.

-
After getting home I hit the gym, tried to structure up some things for this course, then decided that I'd done enough for the day and started playing some FFXV. I'm about to take on the mission to hunt a Catoblepas...I have no idea how this is gonna work out. I mean, those things are huge! How the hell...my first "game over" is just around the corner, I can just feel it.

IV

Tomorrow starts my final semester at GU. Feels kinda strange...still, I'm can't say that I'm 100% sure that this will be my final semester at SU...if I'm gonna continue to study later. AH well, GU will end this summer so...let's do this!
-
Regarding my camera, it is totally broken. The cost to repair it is almost as much as a brand new one so...I decided not to repair it. Which leaves me to buy a new camera. We'll see when that'll happen...
-
These past few days I've mostly been focusing on FFXV (current playtime 46 h), reading "Luck in the Shadows" (which gives me maaajor throwback feels) and dragging myself to the gym. So far I haven't gotten sick 8D
